This painting derived from a single line drawing I did of a classmate without looking at pen or paper. As I created the drawing, I was not allowed to lift the pen from paper.
Original used in copy machines. The blue sketch lines were not picked up by copy machines so the blue pencil was used to sketch out the design before inking..
From a xerox copy of the logo I designed for the Christa McAuliffe Elementary School. Opened in the 80's.
