James Bland’s artistic beginnings centered around fingers covered in primary colors rubbing across the surface of construction paper. During his elementary school years, his imagery later developed into stick figures drawn on lined notebook paper. At age 13, he created his first commercial art piece for a local McDonald’s. Before getting his BFA in Painting from the University of Kansas, James worked in a Graphic Art’s Studio. After college, he used his artistic and drafting skills creating artistic drawings, designing and engineering church organs. As chance would have it, his artistic course would change when he was given the opportunity to use his graphic arts, painting and sculpting abilities in the gaming world, in which he has won awards for. It was in this arena where he became known across the globe.
James’ talents include- Sculpture, Painting, Drawing, Drafting, Printmaking, and Computer Art.
